​Experience

​After extensive experience as a Midwife (LMC) and Nurse, and having the joy of seeing a wide number of families grow and develop, Kaylene furthered her training and studied for four years to become a Classical Homeopath. Today, nothing gives Kaylene greater pleasure than supporting her range of clients to optimize their life journey. Kaylene is also trained in the ‘Liz Lalor’ (Melbourne) fertility programme.

​Community Involvement

Kaylene is actively involved in the local Hamilton community, achieving the following:
  • Facilitated the Parenting 101 health course for Hamilton Parent Centre
  • Presented at antenatal classes at Waterford Birth Centre, River Ridge Birth Centre, Waikato Women’s Hospital regarding the benefits of using homeopathy for natural pain relief during labour. 
  • Presented Natural Therapies seminars to Waikato Polytechnic Students.
  • Presented at the NZNO Women’s Health Conference on Endometriosis - Considering Natural Options.
  • Provision of ‘Homeopathy for Birth Courses’ for Midwives. 
  • Speaker at community specialised health groups. - Endometriosis, Mothers and Babies, Fibromyalgia support groups. 

​Success in Homeopathy 

Personally, Kaylene finds the most fulfilling aspect of her work is when clients feel that their Homeopathic remedy has facilitated a positive change in their well-being. This can mean resolving the unhappiness that a child at school faces with an earache or tonsillitis, or helping an adolescent to cope better with the stress in their life both physically and mentally. Homeopathic treatments also support chronic medical conditions, such as Crohn's, Rheumatoid arthritis, Asthma. 

Kaylene enjoys the elation of a woman's positive pregnancy test, even when it has to be checked many times to make sure that it is true! Kaylene's treatments are rewarded when she receives news from a Mum that her birth has progressed really well thanks to the support of Homeopathy, as well as when she hears of relief from debilitating menopausal symptoms which have been reduced with the help of her treatments.
